In Warren's Words

The Handwriting on the Wall

Predictions are dangerous and the laws of unintended consequences always thwart them. Frequently they are wrong, but that doesn't prevent people from making prognostications based on prevailing facts, personal observations and experiences, anecdotal evidence, and gut feelings. Although I believe I am spot on, as the Brits say, I ask your indulgence. See complete story.

The mass media as we knew it is slowly expiring.

Featured Book News

The Children of the Roses

The Children of the Roses, the darkly hilarious sequel to The War of the Roses, will draw you into a world of domestic mayhem that carries the confrontation between the Roses into the second and third generation. If ever there was a cautionary tale for those with young children contemplating divorce this novel will cause warring couples to take another look at the consequences of their actions. Read it and see if you agree.
