About Adler Entertainment Trust (AET)
Jonathan R. Adler (CEO) and Michael Adler (V.P. Creative) are partners in AET–Grey Eagle Development, LLC, a production company dedicated to adapting Warren Adler’s library of more than fifty novels, numerous plays, and over 100 short stories into film, television, live stage, and podcast projects for both domestic and international markets.
In addition to the successful, acclaimed film remake – The Roses, AET is co-producing a new live stage version of The War of the Roses, scheduled to premiere in London’s West End in 2027.
Current projects in active development include:
Little Black Dress; The Children of the Roses; The Untitled Fiona Fitzgerald Detective Series (based on the eight-book series); Target Churchill / Mission Churchill; Torture Man; The Third Door (starring and co-produced by Anna Camp); Residue (written and directed by Vondie Curtis-Hall); Funny Boys; Flanagan’s Pursuit (based on the two-book series); Never Too Late for Love (a short story collection that inspired the PBS American Playhouse trilogy The Sunset Gang, which garnered Doris Roberts an Emmy nomination); Random Hearts (previously adapted into the 1999 feature starring Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas, now being developed as a television series by a top production company); and Trans-Siberian Express, Trans-Mongolian Express, Treadmill and Housewife Blues (all in development with a top production company).
In addition to Warren Adler’s extensive IP, AET has recently published a new historical-fiction prequel to Target Churchill titled Mission Churchill by Alex Abella, as well as a follow-up novel to The Trans-Siberian Express entitled The Trans-Mongolian Express by David L. Robbins.
A newly discovered novel, Nobodies, originally written by Warren Adler and recently updated by Shannon McKenna, has just been released and will be followed in Spring 2026 by the dark comedy Little Black Dress, an update of Warren Adler’s Mourning Glory also revised by Shannon McKenna.
Adler Entertainment Trust is currently seeking development and producing partners for the remainder of Warren Adler’s extensive catalog.
