Local old-school detective Ed Hawkins and his underestimated young partner, Sydney Choi are brought in to unravel the case. As they dig deeper, every clue and testimony points to a shocking conclusion: Carol’s disappearance might not be a vanishing act after all but a carefully concealed homicide. With a cast of colorful suspects and biting humor, the detectives peel back the polished veneer of privilege, exposing a web of greed, betrayal, and deadly secrets.
