Warren Adler is one of the most prolific storytellers of our time. When he passed away recently at the age of 91, Adler was experiencing a career renaissance with his collection of novels being turned into movies, TV, and plays. His universal themes of romance, dysfunction, political survival, and mystery will keep his best-selling works relevant for years to come.

Searchlight Pictures’ new feature film adaptation, The Roses, is set for worldwide theatrical release on August 29, 2025. Directed by Jay Roach and written by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Tony McNamara (The Favourite, Poor Things), this reimagining stars Oscar-winners Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch as Ivy and Theo Rose, a seemingly perfect power couple whose marriage spectacularly unravels in the most deliciously diabolical way. The all-star cast also includes Kate McKinnon, Andy Samberg, Allison Janney, Ncuti Gatwa, Jamie Demetriou, Zoë Chao, and Belinda Bromilow.
To celebrate the release, the original novel The War of the Roses has been re-published and is now available worldwide in multiple languages. This new edition offers a chance for longtime fans and new readers alike to experience the brilliant, biting satire that started it all.
And the excitement doesn’t end there…

Nobodies
Adler Entertainment is excited to announce the publication of NOBODIES, a recently unearthed thriller originally written by the Warren Adler, completed and updated by bestselling author Shannon McKenna.
At its core, NOBODIES explores themes of invisibility and identity, asking whether people society has discarded can create their own redemption, and whether love can emerge between two people who have learned to trust no one but themselves—even as that trust may be the very thing that destroys them.
